The enhanced rider scheme is a course that assesses your motorcycle riding skills and provides training to help you improve. You can only join the enhanced rider scheme if you are a fully licensed motorcyclist and have passed your driving test. Once you complete the enhanced rider scheme course, a DSA Certificate of Competence will be given to you. Many insurance companies will offer you a good discount on your motorcycle insurance, if you possess this certificate.
