Motorbike module 1 test
This test usually takes about 20 minutes and includes:
- Wheeling the moped or motorcycle
- An emergency stop
- Riding a slalom and figure of 8
- Cornering and hazard avoidance
- A slow ride and a U-turn
- Cornering and a controlled stop
If you pass the test, the examiner will tell you what mistakes you may have made and give you a pass which you need to take for the module 2 tests.
Motorcycle module 2 tests
This test normally takes about 40 minutes and includes:
- An eyesight check
- Independent riding
- Road riding
- Normal stops
- An angle start (pulling out from behind a parked vehicle)
- A hill start (where possible)
- ‘Show me, tell me’ vehicle safety questions
